It’s like Charli XCX was born with glitter in her veins, the star rose to prominence during 2013 and 2014, when she co-wrote and featured on two singles, “I love it” by Icona Pop and “Fancy” by Iggy Azealea. When did this star first start making music? She began posting music on her MySpace in 2008, which led to her discovery by a promotion who invited her to perform at warehouse raves.

So, how to be THEE ‘Brat’ for 2025? We got you covered, divas.

1. Listen to the Brat album, duh. That’s what this article is all about and plus the brat album is so good!
2. Stop caring about what people think: dance in the streets or the rain, wear pink clothes all week, wear pleaser heels to the mall, wear your prom dress to go get some groceries. At least it makes you memorable.
3. Get yourself some BRAT…or rather, BRATZ friends, having friends who are on the same happy vibrational level as you is extremely important
4. Listen to Dr Seuss, you weren’t born to fit in, you were born to stand out. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad about your differences.
5. Charli XCX, Addison Rae (yes we love her comeback and new image) and SOPHIE (rest in paradise), are your new musical icons!
6. Wear whatever you want, life is too short to care about anyone’s opinions on what you like
7. No aesthetic, you just wear what you find aesthetically appealing

10. Be a little scandalous, it makes you memorable - don’t do anything too wreckless, though

13. Start wearing your favorite color all the time, it will become your signature color and when people think of that color, they’ll think of you. Think the Pink Lady of Hollywood, for example! Anytime I think about Pink, I think her…or Elle Woods.
14. Let people make assumptions about you and underestimate you, you go do your thing in the corner, make your winter your hibernation where you up your game and leave people speechless.
15. Be unpredictable, no one ever knows where you’re going, what you’re doing, who you’re with
16. “Screw it, we’re young!” and “YOLO” is the new mottos you should live by. What you do today will just be memories when you’re older, make sure you live a life for you and not what people expect from you
